Three simple, cost free ways to support Ewen’s Room this black Friday weekend
Friday 27th November 2020
I hope you’re having a great Friday and looking forward to the weekend! I’m off for a weekend trip to Inverness tomorrow morning, and will hopefully take advantage of some of the black Friday deals to finish off my Christmas shopping this weekend 😊.
If however like many others, you plan on doing most of your Christmas shopping online, and are also checking out Black Friday deals this weekend, there are three simple ways to choose from that are cost free and quick for you, that lead to us receiving a donation!
Essentially, every time you shop through one of the sites listed below, and select Ewen’s Room as your chosen charity, we receive a small commission at no cost to you. Lots of popular brands and shops are available through the websites, and so if you’re planning on using them anyway, why not help us at the same time?
We currently work with three sites, that you can visit and shop through, all while helping us to continue our important work, such as our life-saving helpline and textline, EwenMe befriending service, our open doors sessions, and mental health education and counselling for young people.
Without further ado, here they are:
We are so grateful for every donation we receive. As a small organisation, where our team are home based, we won’t be spending any funds received on bricks, mortar and electricity bills. This means, that we can prioritise spending every penny of your donations on our life changing services, supporting mental health and wellbeing within communities across the West Highlands. If you get a chance to shop via these websites and support us in the process, thank you! It’s not just for black Friday deals too, these sites can be used all year round to support Ewen’s Room.
If you are shopping local instead but would still like to support us, find out more about other ways you can help us.
Have a great weekend folks, and as always, please share this post to help us spread the word!
I thought it would be helpful today to talk about an aspect of mental health support, more specifically, peer support.
