Sources of Funding
As a Voluntary Community Association, we are totally reliant on grants and donations to pay for our activities. We are very grateful to members of the public, both locally and from the wider community, who have been very generous in supporting our efforts. We encourage this through the donate button facility on the website, and monthly adverts and updates in the local newspaper for Ardnamurchan and Morvern, ‘Dethadol?’. Donations from participants in ‘Open Doors’ cover much of the cost of running the weekly sessions. In the past, we have been nominated to receive proceeds from specific events such as the Tin Farm 5 running race. Thanks to the kindness of their relatives, we have also benefitted from the remembrance givings of two people with local connections who had suffered mental health problems.
